Dr. Paul Silverstein is committed to the community and in 1975, shortly after his arrival to Oklahoma City, he founded the burn center at Integris
Baptist Medical Center that now bears his name. The "Paul Silverstein Burn Center was the first of its kind in Oklahoma City, and their doctors, nurses, and staff
have a history of providing compassionate and comprehensive care. Dr. Silverstein knew he wanted to provide advanced treatment of burn victims after treating
soldiers who had these painful wounds of the Vietnam War. Now, more than 15,000 patients in a six-state area have been treated at the center, renowned for its
standards of excellence.
Since 1979, Dr. Silverstein has served as a clinical professor of plastic surgery for the University of Oklahoma. He takes part in many training programs
